“Psalm” 1
1 Lord, You have loved Your way into my heart. Help me to love. 2 Because of Your
awesome love for me I will worship You with all my heart.
3 I know and remember Your goodness. I have known Your kisses on my life so come
again, come and refresh, restore and heal. 4 Father, I bless You for Your love to me;
for Your care over me, for Your provision for me, for the sweetness and peace of Your presence with me. I ask that You will so shine out of me that all I meet will worship You.
5 You have rescued me from what I would have become. Empower me to be all that I can achieve in you. 6 Lord I thank You for the guidance You have given me, and I thank You that You always know what is best for me. I ask that You continue to guide me. 7 You have called me by name, give me faith to trust in You wholeheartedly. 8 I remember Lord how You rescued me once before, now I cry out to You again. You are my helper, my strength and I pray once again for strength that I can only get from You. I want to run the race You have set before me. 9 I remember You faithfulness to me O Lord, Your protection from the pit of hell. So I come now to plead for my children so that they may experience Your faithfulness too. 10 I ask You to restore my family. I ask for divine order. 11 I have seen You and beheld Your beauty. I want my children to behold Your beauty. I want to reveal You to the next generation, I want to extend Your Kingdom.
“Psalm” 2
1 We stand on the edge of destruction, looking with horror at the mess we have made. We
pray for forgiveness for Your church O Lord, that we may see Your Kingdom come in our
time that Your mighty army will sweep away the pain.
2 You have engraved us on Your palm. Remember us Lord, do not forget Your promises
for us.
3 Because of Your great love for us Lord have mercy on Your people. Jesus is the light of the world, help us to shine His glory through our lives. 4 We have glimpsed Your power and glory. Pull back the veil a little more so we may see more clearly.
5 You Lord have declared a Year of Favour so we ask that you would pour out Your favour on us.
6 As Your voice speaks lovingly to us and still disciplines so we pray Your church will have
a voice, a voice that speaks of You and Your deeds. Change the atmosphere here.
7 Lord You send Your Holy Spirit to give life to all who love You. We ask that You would now release Your power through Him, upon all Your people in Rugby. We ask that we, Your people, would become a sign and a wonder to all our town. Then...release Your Holy Spirit on them. 8 Fill our church with Your Holy Spirit.
9 Lord God You are mighty to save so I ask you to bring salvation to all our families who have drifted from You, Lord.
10 We declare that Your Kingdom will come to Israel. Release Your Holy Spirit, let Him flow through the Nation like a mighty river. We will declare your love for Israel, the apple of Your eye. We will shout Your name over the Nation.
“Psalm” 3
1 Lord stretch out Your hand as in days of old so that people in Rugby will see Your mighty
works and be enthralled by your great majesty and beauty. Strong to save, magnificent
in all that You have made.
2 As You have opened our eyes and ears so Lord I pray for our town. You know them all
Lord, release them from the darkness that they may see You and hear from You. Bring
life to our town, set the captives free.
3 Lord, You are the perfect Father and have mighty power to call more people to You. So I
ask you to bring people of all ages to You.
4 God, pour joy and peace over Rugby. You are the source of hope, You are the only
source.
5 Out of the abundance of Your mercy shower mercy on the broken hearted.
6 You O Lord are the hope of the nations. We ask that hope comes to the people of
England.
7 O Lord, there is no one in our town that You do not love, that You did not die for. Open
their eyes. Let them see You. Let them know Your love so that our town can be
transformed. 8 You are the Creator of all good things. In You there is perfect enjoyment.
Thrill our town with Your love. 9 Come into our town, release Your Holy Spirit. Bring Your
life, heal the sick, release those who sit in darkness, bring Your riches; let our town see
You Jesus. Release Your signs and wonders.
10 Thank You that You are the God of justice. Through Your judgement on this nation let
people turn their hearts to You. 11 You are God and Your loving kindness never fails.
Let those in darkness know Your love and kindness. 12 Lord, You dwell in light but
many in Rugby dwell in shadows of their own making. Lord, shine Your light into their
hearts so that they will know what they are missing.
